Background:
EDNRB is a G protein-coupled receptor which activates a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Its ligand, endothelin, consists of a family of three potent vasoactive peptides: ET1, ET2, and ET3. Studies suggest that the multigenic disorder, Hirschsprung disease type 2, is due to mutations in the endothelin receptor type B gene.
Other Names:
Endothelin B receptor, ET-B, ET-BR, Endothelin receptor non-selective type, EDNRB, ETRB
Target/Specificity:
This EDNRB antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 409-439 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human EDNRB.
Antigen Region:
409-439
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: EDNRB (HGNC:3180)
Gene ID: 1910
Primary Accession: P24530
NCBI Accession: NP_000106.1;NP_001116131.1;NP_001188326.1;NP_003982.1
Other Accession: P21451; Q9N0W7; P35463; P48302; P28088; O62709
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
