This monoclonal antibody reacts with a cytoplasmic domain of EGFR. EGFR is a type I receptor tyrosine kinase with sequence homology to erbB-1, -2, -3 -4 or HER-1, -2, -3 -4. It binds to Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF), Transforming Growth Factor-a (TGF-a), Heparin-binding EGF (HB-EGF), amphiregulin, βcellulin & epiregulin.

Immunogen: Purified EGFR from A431 cells.

Form: Purified, in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applications: Immunoprecipitation (1-2 �g/500ug protein Lysate),Western Blotting (0.5-1.0ug/ml for 2 hours at RT)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
Reactivity: A431 cells, Breast or Bladder cancer
Concentration: 0.2mg/ml
Storage: Can be stored at +4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
