Size: 100 µg
Isotype: Mouse IgG1
Background:
Elastin is a major structural protein of tissues such as aorta, which must expand rapidly and recover completely. Elastin chains are cross-linked together into an extensible 3D network. It is a molecular determinant of late arterial morphogenesis, stabilizing arterial structure by regulating proliferation and organization of vascular smooth muscle. Defects in elastin are a cause of autosomal dominant cutis laxa.
Decription:
Mouse IgG monoclonal antibody for Elastin, elastin (ELN ) detection. Tested with IHC-P in Human, bovine. No cross reactivity with otherproteins.
Synonyms: WS, WBS, SVAS, Tropoelastin
Clone: BA-4
Isotype: Mouse IgG1
Immunogen: Bovine alpha-elastin.
Reactivity: bovine, human
Form: Lyophilized; Mouse ascites fluid, 1.2% sodium acetate, 2mg BSA, with 0.01mg NaN3 as preservative.
Applications: IHC-P
Reconstitution: Add 1ml of PBS buffer will yield a concentration of 100ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
