Protein Family: Transcription Factors
Pathway and Disease: Transcription, Translation, Signal transduction, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Alternate Names: ETS-related transcription fator Elf-3; E74-like factor 3; Epithelium-specific Ets transcription factor 1; ESE-1 Epithelium-restricted Ets protein ESX; Epithelial-restricted with serine box; ELF3; ERT; ESX; JEN
Accession No.: P78545, NP_004424
Description:
ELF-3 is a transcriptional activator which binds and transactivates ETS sequences containing the consensus nucleotide core sequence GGA[AT]. It acts synergistically with POU2F3 to transactivate SPRR2A promoter.
Format:
Each vial contains 0.1 mg of lyophilized peptide. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml deionized water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Use at 5.6 ug/ml for a 100X excess over antibody for maximum blocking effect.
MW: 2051.2 g/mol
Sequence:
The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 200188 is selected from a sequence within the C-term region of ELF-3. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.
Composition:
C84H135N27O31S1
Purity:
> 80% by HPLC
Solubility:
Distilled water for a solution up to 2 mg/ml, otherwise we recommend using acetonitrile.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. The product is hygroscopic and must be protected from light. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment. Following reconstitution, store at -20°C.
