Source: Washed whole erythrocytes were prepared from fresh blood and used for intravenous immunization. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.

Cross Reactivity:
Homologous proteins of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Cross-reactivity has not been tested.
