Background:
This gene encodes an ETS family transcription factor. Theproduct of this gene contains two functional domains: a N-terminalpointed (PNT) domain that is involved in protein-proteininteractions with itself and other proteins, and a C-terminalDNA-binding domain. Gene knockout studies in mice suggest that itis required for hematopoiesis and maintenance of the developingvascular network. This gene is known to be involved in a largenumber of chromosomal rearrangements associated with leukemia andcongenital fibrosarcoma.
Other Names:
Transcription factor ETV6, ETS translocation variant 6, ETS-related protein Tel1, Tel, ETV6, TEL, TEL1
Gene Name: ETV6
Gene ID: 2120
Primary Accession: P41212
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
