Background:
Fascin organizes filamentous actin into bundles with a minimum of 4.1:1 actin/fascin ratio. It is probably involved in the assembly of actin filament bundles present in microspikes, membrane ruffles, and stress fibers.
Other Names:
Fascin, 55 kDa actin-bundling protein, Singed-like protein, p55, FSCN1, FAN1, HSN, SNL
Target/Specificity:
This Fascin antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 322-350 amino acids from the Central region of human Fascin.
Antigen Region:
322-350
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: FSCN1
Gene ID: 6624
Primary Accession: Q16658
NCBI Accession: NP_003079.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.
