AC-BP7385a
Background:
Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1, a gluconeogenesis regulatory enzyme, catalyzes the hydrolysis of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to fructose 6-phosphate and inorganic phosphate. Fructose-1,6-diphosphatase deficiency is associated with hypoglycemia and metabolic acidosis.
Other Names:
Fructose-1,6-bisphosphatase 1, FBPase 1, D-fructose-1,6-bisphosphate 1-phosphohydrolase 1, Liver FBPase, FBP1, FBP
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP7385a was selected from the N-term region of human FBP1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: FBP1
Gene ID: 2203
Primary Accession: P09467
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
