Produced from sera of goats pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hFGF-16. Anti-Human FGF-16 specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hFGF-16 matrix.
Western Blot:
To detect hFGF-16 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 μg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hFGF-16 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Neutralization:
To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of Human FGF-16 (0.07 μg/ml), a concentration of 0.3 mg/ml of this antibody is required.
Formulation: A sterile filtered antibody solution was lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution: Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
