Description:
Fibrinogen-like protein 2 (FGL2) is a fibrinogen-like protein similar to the beta and gamma chains of fibrinogen. FGL2 carboxyl terminus end consists of the fibrinogen-related domains (FRED). FGL2 forms a tetrameric complex that is stabilized by interchain disulfide bonds. FGL2 plays a role in physiologic lymphocyte functions at mucosal sites.
