Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Follistatin detection. Tested with WB, ELISA(Cap) in Human;Mouse;Rat.
Protein Function:
Binds directly to activin and functions as an activin antagonist. Specific inhibitor of the biosynthesis and secretion of pituitary follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).
Subcellular Localization: Secreted.
Tissue Specificity: Isoform 1 is the predominant isoform in serum but is undetectable in follicular fluid.
Immunogen: E. coli-derived human Follistatin recombinant protein (Position: N31-K261).
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
