Background:
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to family 1 of G-protein coupled receptors. It is the receptor for follicle stimulating hormone and functions in gonad development. Mutations in this gene cause ovarian dysgenesis type 1, and also ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
Research Area: Cancer, Neuroscience, Signal Transduction
Synonyms:
Follicle stimulating hormone receptor, Follicle stimulating hormone receptor isoform 1, Follicle-stimulating hormone receptor, Follitropin receptor, FSH receptor, FSH-R, Fshr, FSHR, FSHRO, LGR1, MGC141667, MGC141668, ODG1, ovarian dysgenesis 1
Immunogen: KLH conjugated Synthetic peptide corresponding to Mouse FSHR
Swissprot: P20395
Calculated MW: 76 kDa
Observed MW: 76 kDa
Purification Method: Affinity purification
Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 1% BSA and 50% glycerol, pH7.4
Concentration: 0.77 mg/mL
Dilution: WB 1:500-1:1000
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles.
