Recombinant Human globular ACRP-30 is a natural product produced when processed from the full length adiponectin molecule. Produced by adipocytes, this plasma protein exists in high concentrations (0.05%) as a serum protein. ACPR-30 plays an important role in hyperglycemia and insulin resistance. Recombinant Human ACRP-30 is a nonglycosylated polypeptide consisting of 145 amino acids with a MW of 16,690 Da.

Application Notes:
ACRP-30 is fully biologically active when compared to standard. Activity is determined by the ability to inhibit the proliferation of mouse M1 cells. The expected ED50 for this effect is 1.0 – 2.5 μg/ml.
