Background:
glucokinase regulator(GCKR) Homo sapiens This gene encodes a protein belonging to the GCKR subfamily of the SIS (Sugar ISomerase) family of proteins. The gene product is a regulatory protein that inhibits glucokinase in liver and pancreatic islet cells by binding non-covalently to form an inactive complex with the enzyme. This gene is considered a susceptibility gene candidate for a form of maturity-onset diabetes of the young (MODY). [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008],
Alternative Names:
GCKR, Glucokinase regulatory protein, Glucokinase regulator
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Glucokinase Regulator. AA range:211-260
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 68
GeneID: GCKR
Storage: -20°C/1 year
