Localizes primarily to the perinuclear region, undergoing continued recycling to the plasma membrane where it is rapidly reinternalized. The dileucine internalization motif is critical for intracellular sequestration.
Tissue Specificity: Skeletal and cardiac muscles; brown and white fat.
