Protein Family: Proteoglycans
Pathway and Disease: Development and Behavior
Description:
Glypican-3 (GPC3) is a cell surface proteoglycan that bears heparan sulfate. GPC3 is likely involved in the modulation of growth in the predominantly mesodermal tissues and organs. Defects in GPC3 are the cause of pre- and postnatal overgrowth (gigantism, Simpson-Golabi-Behmel syndrome).
Alternate Names: Glypican-3, Intestinal protein OCI-5, GTR2-2, MXR7, GPC3, OCI5
Application Notes: E: 1:500-1:1,000; WB: 1:100-1:500
Accession No.: P51654, NP_004475
Antigen: KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the N-term region of human Glypican-3.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 20% glycerol with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by Protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
