Description:
G-protein coupled receptor 49 (GPR49), also called GPR67 or LGR5, is an orphan receptor that is a stem cell marker of the intestinal epithelium and hair follicule. GPR49 is the target of the Wnt signaling pathway. GPR49 is expressed in skeletal muscle, placenta, spinal cord and various regions of brain.
