Background:
GPx-7 (glutathione peroxidase 7), also known as GPX6, CL683 or NPGPx, is a 187 amino acid secreted protein belonging to the glutathione peroxidase family. GPx-7 catalyzes the reaction of glutathione into glutathione disulfide and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 1, which spans 260 million base pairs, contains over 3,000 genes and comprises nearly 8% of the human genome.
Alternative Name:
GPX6, CL683, GPx-7, NPGPx, GSHPx-7,
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
Specificity: GPX7 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of GPX7 protein.
Immunogen:
Recombinant protein of human GPX7.
MW: ~ 21 kDa
Swis Prot.: Q96SL4
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
