Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for GST3 / GST pi detection. Tested with WB, IHC-P, Direct ELISA in Human;Mouse;Rat.
Protein Function:
Conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number of exogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles. Regulates negatively CDK5 activity via p25/p35 translocation to prevent neurodegeneration (By similarity). .
Subcellular Localization: Cytoplasm . Mitochondrion . Nucleus . The 83 N-terminal amino acids function as un uncleaved transit peptide, and arginine residues within it are crucial for mitochondrial localization. .
Tissue Specificity: Present in kidney, lung, testis and placenta, very low levels in liver.
Immunogen: E. coli-derived rat GST3 / GST pi recombinant protein (Position: P2-Q210).
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
