Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Glutathione S-transferase A1/A2/A3/A4/A5(GSTA1/A2/A3/A4/A5) detection. Tested with WB in Human; Mouse;Rat.Protein Name: Glutathione S-transferase A1/A2/A3/A4/A5
Protein Function:
GSTA1: Conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number ofexogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles.|GSTA2: Conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number ofexogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles.|GSTA3: Conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number ofexogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles. Catalyzesisomerization reactions that contribute to the biosynthesis ofsteroid hormones. Efficiently catalyze obligatory double-bondisomerizations of delta(5)-androstene-3,17-dione and delta(5)-pregnene-3,20-dione, precursors to testosterone and progesterone, respectively. |GSTA4: Conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number ofexogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles. This isozymehas a high catalytic efficiency with 4-hydroxyalkenals such as 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE).
Other Names: Glutathione S-transferase A5, 2.5.1.18, GST class-alpha member 5, Glutathione S-transferase A5-5, GSTA5
Subcellular Localization: Cytoplasm .
Tissue Specificity: Expression not detected.
Gene ID: 221357
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of human GSTA1/A2/A3/A4/A5 (63-97aa MKLVQTRAILNYIASKYNLYGKDIKERALIDM YIE), different from the related mouse and rat sequences by five amino acids.
Calculated MW: 25722
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
