AC-BP14111b
Background:
GTF2E2 recruits TFIIH to the initiation complex and stimulates the RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain kinase and DNA-dependent ATPase activities of TFIIH. Both TFIIH and TFIIE are required for promoter clearance by RNA polymerase.
Other Names:
Transcription initiation factor IIE subunit beta, TFIIE-beta, General transcription factor IIE subunit 2, GTF2E2, TF2E2
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP14111b was selected from the C-term region of GTF2E2. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: GTF2E2
Gene ID: 2961
Primary Accession: P29084
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
