Background:
GTF2E2 recruits TFIIH to the initiation complex and stimulates the RNA polymerase II C-terminal domain kinase and DNA-dependent ATPase activities of TFIIH. Both TFIIH and TFIIE are required for promoter clearance by RNA polymerase.
Other Names:
Transcription initiation factor IIE subunit beta, TFIIE-beta, General transcription factor IIE subunit 2, GTF2E2, TF2E2
Target/Specificity:
This GTF2E2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 240-269 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human GTF2E2.
Antigen Region:
240-269
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: GTF2E2
Gene ID: 2961
Primary Accession: P29084
NCBI Accession: NP_002086.1
Other Accession: Q2KJF9; NP_002086.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
