Alternate Names: Tuberous sclerosis 1 protein; TSC1; TSC; Hamartin

Accession No.: Q92574, NP_000359

Description:
Hamartin (TSC1) is involved in vesicular transport and docking with TSC2. Hamartin is a tumor suppressor. Defects in hamartin are the cause of tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC), a multi-system disorder.

Format:
Each vial contains 0.1 mg of lyophilized peptide. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml deionized water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Use at 5.6 ug/ml for a 100X excess over antibody for maximum blocking effect.

MW: 1964.1 g/mol

Sequence:
The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 200146 is selected from a sequence within the C-term region of human hamartin. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.

Composition:
C82H118N26O27S2

Purity:
> 80% by HPLC
