Size: 100 µl, 0.5 ml, 1 ml
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Decription:
This monoclonal antibody reacts with a protein of ~13kDa, identified as α sub-unit of HCG. HCG is a glycoprotein, which is secreted in large quantities by normal trophoblasts. It is present only in trace amounts in non-pregnant urine and sera but rises sharply during pregnancy. HCG is composed of two non-identical, non-covalently linked polypeptide chains designated as the ? and ? subunits. The ? subunit is identical to that of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), and luteinizing hormone (LH).
Synonyms: CG-alpha, CGA, Chorionic Gonadotrophin Alpha, Follicle Stimulating Hormone Alpha, Follitropin Alpha, FSH-alpha, FSHA, GPH Alpha, GPHA1, LHA, LH-alpha, Luteinizing Hormone Alpha, Lutropin Alpha, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Alpha, Thyrotropin Alpha, TSHA
Clone: HCGa/53
Isotype: Mouse IgG1, kappa
Immunogen: Recombinant hCG alpha protein
Reactivity: human. Others not known.
Form: Purified, in 10mM PBS with 0.05% BSA & 0.05% azide. Also available WITHOUT BSA & azide at 1.0mg/ml.
Applications: Immunohistology (Formalin-fixed) (1-2ug/ml for 30 minutes at RT)
(No special pre-treatment is required for staining of formalin-fixed tissues. Note that HIER is NOT recommended for this antibody.)
Optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined.
Reactivity: JAR or TT Cells. Placenta
Concentration: 0.2mg/ml
Storage: Can be stored at +4C. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
