Background:
HCG β is a glycoprotein hormone produced by placental syncytiotrophoblast cells. It is mainly used in the judging of placental trophoblast and germ cell tumors, such as hydatidiform mole and choriocarcinoma, and the study of multiple neuroendocrine tumors.
