Background:
NDC80 encodes a component of the NDC80 kinetochore complex. The NDC80, kinetochore complex component consists of an N-terminal microtubule binding domain and a C-terminal coiled-coiled domain that interacts with other components of the complex. This protein functions to organize and stabilize microtubule-kinetochore interactions and is required for proper chromosome segregation.
Research Area: Cell Biology
Synonyms: NDC80, HEC, HEC1, KNTC2, Kinetochore protein NDC80 homolog, Highly expressed in cancer protein, Kinetochore protein Hec1, HsHec1, Kinetochore-associated protein 2, Retinoblastoma-associated protein HE
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human AMPK alpha around the phosphorylation site of Thr172. AA range:140-189
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Formulation: Liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Storage:
-20°C for 1 year
