AC-BP13136b
Background:
HEMGN regulates the proliferation and differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Overexpression block the TPA-induced megakaryocytic differentiation in the K562 cell model. May also prevent cell apoptosis through the activation of the nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-kB).
Other Names:
Hemogen, Erythroid differentiation-associated gene protein, EDAG-1, Hemopoietic gene protein, Negative differentiation regulator protein, HEMGN, EDAG, NDR
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13136b was selected from the C-term region of HEMGN. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: HEMGN
Gene ID: 55363
Primary Accession: Q9BXL5
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
