Description
HSPA13, also known as STCH, is a member of the heat shock protein 70 family and is found associated with microsomes. Members of this protein family play a role in the processing of cytosolic and secretory proteins, as well as in the removal of denatured or incorrectly-folded proteins. HSPA13 has been found to interact with PLIC-1 and PLIC-2, proteins involved in the signaling connection between the membrane receptors for thrombospondin and the cytoskeleton.Alternative Names
Heat shock protein 70kDa family member 13, STCHConcentration
1mg/ml (determined by BCA assay)Concentration
Liquid in. Phosphate-Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) with 0.02% Sodium Azide, 10% glycerolStorage: Can be stored at +2C to +8C for 1 week. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20C to -80C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing cycles.
