Test Principle:
This assay employs the competitive inhibition enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with Anti-Rh Blood Group, D Antigen Antibody(Anti-RHD) protein. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Anti-Rh Blood Group, D Antigen Antibody(Anti-RHD). Next,Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Anti-Rh Blood Group, D Antigen Antibody(Anti-RHD) in the samples is then determined by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Research Area: Hematology
Alternative Names:
CD240D, Rh30a, Rh4, RhPI, RhII, DIIIc, Rhesus D antigen, Rh polypeptide 2
Sample Type:
serum, plasma and other biological fluids
Assay Type: Competitive Inhibition
Standard: 200 ng/mL
Assay Length: 2h, 30min
Assay Length: For Research Use Only
