Description: Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Interferon gamma(IFNG) detection. Tested with WB in Human.Protein Name: Interferon gamma(IFN-gamma)
Protein Function:
Produced by lymphocytes activated by specific antigens or mitogens. IFN-gamma, in addition to having antiviral activity, has important immunoregulatory functions. It is a potent activator of macrophages, it has antiproliferative effects on transformed cells and it can potentiate the antiviral and antitumor effects of the type I interferons.
Other Names: Interferon gamma, IFN-gamma, Immune interferon, IFNG
Subcellular Localization: Secreted.
Tissue Specificity: Released primarily from activated T lymphocytes.
Gene ID: 3458
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human IFN gamma(151-166aa KRKRSQMLFRGRRASQ).
Calculated MW: 19348
Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
Format: Lyophilized
Reconstitution: Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Contents: Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg Thimerosal, 0.05mg NaN3.
Concentration (mg/ml): Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.
Storage: At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
