Quantity: 200 µl
Background:
The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the Fc and Fab subunits of the IgG molecule. It includes a certain degree of reactivity with other immunoglobulins via the common Fab portion. It does not react with any non-Ig protein in turkey serum, as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion.
Isotype: Goat Polyclonal
Source: Purified normal IgG isolated from pooled turkey serum. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Form: Biotin-coupled hyperimmune goat IgG, in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2).
Specificity:
Biotin-conjugated IgG fraction of polyclonal Goat anti-Serum to Turkey IgG, heavy and light chains.
Reactivity: Turkey
Cross Reactivity:
Inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antibodies to immunoglobulins, since Ig of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Cross-reactivity of this antiserum has not been tested in detail, however in immunoelectrophoresis a precipitin line with pigeon, Duck and Chicken has been observed.
Applications: ELISA, Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry (paraffin), Dot blot, Immunoblotting
Storage: Store at 4C, or in small aliquots at -20C.
