Quantity: 200 µl
Background:
The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the major isotypes of the cat immunoglobulin system as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion against pooled serum and purified immunoglobulins. In precipitating techniques as immunoelectrophoresis and single and double radial immunodiffusion (Mancini, Ouchterlony) to identify and measure immunoglobulins; as secondary antibody to precipitate the immunoglobulin in normal cat serum.
Isotype: Goat Polyclonal
Source: Purified normal IgG and fractions containing IgA and IgM and isolated from cat serum. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Form: Delipidated, heat inactivated, in PBS and 0.1% sodium azide.
Specificity:
Precipitating polyclonal Goat anti-Serum to Cat immunoglobulins, heavy and light chains
Reactivity: Feline
Cross Reactivity:
Inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antibodies to immunoglobulins, since Ig of different species frequently share antigenic determinants. Cross-reactivity of this antiserum has not been tested in detail.
Applications: Immunoprecipitation
Storage: Store at 4C, or in small aliquots at -20C.
