Background:
The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the subclass IgG1. It does not react with other subclasses of IgG, IgG/Fab fragments, IgM and IgA or any non-Ig protein in mouse serum, as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion. In precipitating techniques as immunoelectrophoresis and radial immunodiffusion to identify the presence of IgG1 in mouse serum and other body fluids or to determine its concentration. To prepare an immunoadsorbent for the purification of mouse IgG1 from serum or plasma.
Isotype: Rabbit Polyclonal
Source: Pools of purified homogenous IgG1 isolated from pooled mouse serum. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure
Form: Delipidated, heat inactivated, in PBS and 0.1% sodium azide.
Reactivity: mouse
Cross Reactivity:
This IgG fraction is not species-specific since inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antisera to immunoglobulins. Cross-reactivity of this product has not been tested in detail
Applications: Immunoprecipitation
Storage: Store at 4C, or in small aliquots at -20C.
