Quantity: 200 µl
Background:
The reactivity of the antiserum is directed to the subclass IgG2b. It does not react with other subclasses of IgG, IgG/Fab fragments, IgM and IgA or any non-Ig protein in mouse serum, as tested by immunoelectrophoresis and double radial immunodiffusion. In immunoelectrophoresis use 2 ?l or equivalent against 120 ?l antiserum. In double radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony) use a rosette arrangement with 10 ?l antiserum in a 3 mm diameter centre well and 2 ?l serum samples (neat and diluted) in 2 mm diameter peripheral wells.
Isotype: Goat Polyclonal
Source: Pools of purified homogenous IgG2b isolated from mouse serum. Freund's complete adjuvant is used in the first step of the immunization procedure.
Form: Delipidated, heat inactivated, in PBS and 0.1% sodium azide.
Specificity:
Precipitating polyclonal Goat anti-Serum to Mouse IgG2b, subclass specific
Reactivity: mouse
Cross Reactivity:
This antiserum is not species-specific since inter-species cross-reactivity is a normal feature of antisera to immunoglobulins. Cross-reactivity has not been tested in detail.
Applications: Immunoprecipitation
Storage: Store at 4C, or in small aliquots at -20C.
