Background:
inhibitor of kappa light polypeptide gene enhancer in B-cells, kinase beta(IKBKB) Homo sapiens The protein encoded by this gene phosphorylates the inhibitor in the inhibitor/NF-kappa-B complex, causing dissociation of the inhibitor and activation of NF-kappa-B. The encoded protein itself is found in a complex of proteins. Several transcript variants, some protein-coding and some not, have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011],
Alternative Names:
IKBKB, IKKB, Inhibitor of nuclear factor kappa-B kinase subunit beta, I-kappa-B-kinase beta, IKK-B, IKK-beta, IkBKB, I-kappa-B kinase 2, IKK2, Nuclear factor NF-kappa-B inhibitor kinase beta, NFKBIKB
Immunogen: The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human IKK-beta around the phosphorylation site of Tyr199. AA range:166-215
Isotype: Rabbit
Purification: The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen.
Concentration: 1 mg/ml
Observed band: 85
GeneID: IKBKB
Storage: -20°C/1 year
