Interleukin-12 p35 is a cytokine that can act as a growth factor for activated T and NK cells, enhance the lytic activity of NK/lymphokine-activated killer cells, and stimulate the production of IFN-gamma by resting PBMC. Recombinant interleukin-12 p35 comprises a 197 amino acid fragment (57-253) corresponding to the mature Interleukin-12 p35 chain protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag.
