Protein Family: Receptors and Channels
Pathway and Disease: Development and Behavior, Immune System, Signaling Molecules and Interaction
Alternate Names: X-linked interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein-like 1; IL1RAPL-1; Oligophrenin-4; Three immunoglobulin domain-containing IL-1 receptor-related 2; TIGIRR-2; IL1RAPL1; OPHN4
Accession No.: Q9NZN1
Description:
X-linked interleukin-1 receptor accessory protein-like 1 (IL1RAPL-1) belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family. IL1RAPL-1 is detected at low levels in heart, skeletal muscle, ovary, skin, amygdala, and brain (caudate nucleus, corpus callosum, hippocampus, substantia nigra and thalamus). Defects in IL1RAPL1 are the cause of mental retardation X-linked type 21 (MRX21).
Format:
Each vial contains 0.1 ml peptide in deionized water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Use at 5.6 ug/ml for a 100X excess over antibody for maximum blocking effect.
MW: 1558.8 g/mol
Sequence:
The synthetic peptide used to raise the antibody Cat. No. 250714 is selected from a sequence within the center region of human IL1RAPL1. For blocking experiments, a 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended.
Composition:
C66H115N27O17
Purity:
> 80% by HPLC
Solubility:
Distilled water for a solution up to 2 mg/ml, otherwise we recommend using acetonitrile.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. The product is hygroscopic and must be protected from light. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment. Following reconstitution, store at -20°C.
