Background:
This gene encodes a protein that belongs to the inositol phosphokinase (IPK) family. This protein is likely responsible for the conversion of inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6) to diphosphoinositol pentakisphosphate (InsP7/PP-InsP5). It may also convert 1,3,4,5,6-pentakisphosphate (InsP5) to PP-InsP4. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein.

Other Names:
Inositol hexakisphosphate kinase 3, InsP6 kinase 3, Inositol hexaphosphate kinase 3, IP6K3, IHPK3

Target/Specificity:
This IP6K3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 72-98 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human IP6K3.

Antigen Region:
72-98

Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide

Gene Name: IP6K3
Gene ID: 117283
Primary Accession: Q96PC2
NCBI Accession: NP_001136355.1;NP_473452.2
Other Accession: NP_001136355.1
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
