Background:
Integrins are heterodimeric proteins made up of alpha andbeta subunits. At least 18 alpha and 8 beta subunits have beendescribed in mammals. Integrin family members are membranereceptors involved in cell adhesion and recognition in a variety ofprocesses including embryogenesis, hemostasis, tissue repair, immune response and metastatic diffusion of tumor cells. This geneencodes a beta subunit. Multiple alternatively spliced transcriptvariants which encode different protein isoforms have been foundfor this gene.
Other Names:
Integrin beta-1, Fibronectin receptor subunit beta, Glycoprotein IIa, GPIIA, VLA-4 subunit beta, CD29, ITGB1, FNRB, MDF2, MSK12
Gene Name: ITGB1 (HGNC:6153)
Gene ID: 3688
Primary Accession: P05556
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
