Keratin 8 (clone TS1), anti-human

A BALB/c mouse was immunized with a cytokeratin 8 preparation of human gastrointestinal tumors.
Fusion partner: X63.Ag8-P653.

Specifications:
TS1 reacts in humans only with cytokeratin 8 (52.5 kDa). The epitope is situated between amino acids 343-357 (ELAIKDANAKLSELE), within the among type II cytokeratins highly variable 2B α-helix. TS1 was typed in the ISOBM TD-5 workshop.

Species reactivity:
Positive: human. Negative: ferret.

Demonstration of keratin 8 in immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence tests and immunoblotting.
