Background:
c-Kit is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase encoded by the cKit proto oncogene. c-Kit acts to regulate a variety of biological responses including cell proliferation, apoptosis, chemotaxis and adhesion. Ligand binding to the extracellular domain leads to autophosphorylation on several tyrosine residues within the cytoplasmic domain, and activation.
Synonyms: C-Kit, CD117, PBT, SCFR
Cellular Location: Cell membrane
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide of human KIT
Gene Symbol: KIT
Gene ID: 3815
Swiss prot: P10721
Calculated MW: 125kDa
Recommended dilution:
WB 1:3000
Purity:
Affinity purification
Storage Buffer:
Buffer: PBS with 0.03% Proclin300, 50% glycerol, pH7.3.
