Background:
Kinesin is a molecular motor that generates ATP-dependent movement of vesicles and organelles along microtubules. Kinesin consists of 2 light chains, such as KLC2, and 2 heavy chains (see KIF5B; MIM 602809) in a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio.
Other Names:
Kinesin light chain 2, KLC 2, KLC2
Target/Specificity:
This KLC2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 403-432 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human KLC2.
Antigen Region:
403-432
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: KLC2 (HGNC:20716)
Gene ID: 64837
Primary Accession: Q9H0B6
NCBI Accession: NP_001128246.1;NP_001128247.1;NP_001128248.1;NP_073733.1
Other Accession: NP_073733
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
