Background:
This gene encodes a high-affinity dickkopf homolog 1(DKK1) transmembrane receptor that functionally cooperates withDKK1 to block wingless (WNT)/beta-catenin signaling. The encodedprotein forms a ternary membrane complex with DKK1 and the WNTreceptor lipoprotein receptor-related protein 6 (LRP6), and inducesrapid endocytosis and removal of LRP6 from the plasma membrane. Itcontains extracellular kringle, WSC, and CUB domains. Alternativelyspliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have beenobserved for this gene.
Other Names:
Kremen protein 2, Dickkopf receptor 2, Kringle domain-containing transmembrane protein 2, Kringle-containing protein marking the eye and the nose, KREMEN2, KRM2
Gene Name: KREMEN2
Gene ID: 79412
Primary Accession: Q8NCW0
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
