Isotype: Mouse IgG1
Background:
The reactivity of the antiserum is restricted to lactoferrin as tested in indirect binding immunoblotting and indirect immunoperoxidase staining. To identify the presence of lactoferrin in human milk, other body fluids, cell and tissue substrates and to determine its concentration in techniques as ELISA, indirect immunoperoxidase and indirect immunofluorescence staining and immunoblotting. The optimum working dilution is an assay-related characteristic and should always be determined by titration. For histochemical use optimum dilutions are mostly from 1:20 upwards; in ELISA from 1:100 upwards; in Western blotting from 1:500 upwards. These data should be interpreted as general recommendations only.
Clone: NI 25
Isotype: Mouse IgG1
Source: Highly purified lactoferrin isolated from human milk.
Reactivity: human. The anti-serum does not react with any other component of the human milk or plasma protein as tested. This anti-serum has not been tested for cross-reactivity with other species.
Specificity: Monoclonal Mouse antibody to Human lactoferrin.
Form: Delipidated, heat inactivated lyophilized stable ascites. No preservative added, as it may interfere with the antibody activity. No foreign protein added. IgG concentration is 1.0 mg/ml. No foreign proteins added.
Applications: Indirect immunofluorescence, ELISA
Storage: Store at 4C, or in small aliquots at -20C.
