Protein Family: CAM Ligands
Pathway and Disease: Cancers, Cell Communication, Signaling Molecules and Interaction, Infectious Diseases
Description:
Laminin (Laminin subunit alpha-1) is a complex glycoprotein, consisting of three different polypeptide chains (alpha, beta, gamma), which are bound to each other by disulfide bonds into a cross-shaped molecule comprising one long and three short arms with globules at each end. Alpha-1 is a subunit of laminin-1 (laminin-111 or EHS laminin) and laminin-3 (laminin-121 or S-laminin). Laminin is thought to mediate the attachment, migration and organization of cells into tissues during embryonic development by interacting with other extracellular matrix components.
Alternate Names: Laminin subunit alpha-1, Laminin A chain, Laminin-1 subunit alpha, Laminin-3 subunit alpha, S-laminin subunit alpha
Application Notes: E: 1:1,000-1:10,000; WB: 1:200-1:400; IHC: 1:100-1:200
Accession No.: P25391
Antigen: KLH-conjugated human laminin.
Format: Each vial contains 0.1 mg IgG in 0.1 ml (1 mg/ml) of PBS pH7.4, 0.2% BSA with 0.09% sodium azide. Antibody was purified by anti-mouse IgG affinity chromatography.
Storage:
Store at -20°C. Minimize freeze-thaw cycles. Product is guaranteed one year from the date of shipment.
