A Sprague Dawley rat was immunized with a laminin preparation from murine EHS cells.
Fusion partner: SP-2/0.
Specifications:
Laminins are large hetero-trimeric, non-collagenous glycoproteins found in basement membranes and composed of α, β, and γchains. A5 reacts specifically with γchain 1. Alterations of basement membrane integrity, from local discontinuities up to complete loss, are described in many types of human and animal epithelial neoplasms.
Species reactivity:
Positive: human, monkey, mouse, pig, rat, rhesus.
Applications:
Demonstration of laminin γ1 in normal and neoplastic tissues.
Flow cytometry: +
Frozen sections: +
Immunofluorescence: +
Paraffin sections: Citrate
Positive control: Normal colon or carcinomas.
