Background:
Three human LC3 isoforms (LC3A, LC3B, and LC3C) undergo post-translational modifications during autophagy. Cleavage of LC3 at the carboxy terminus immediately following synthesis yields the cytosolic LC3-I form.
Cellular localization: Cytoplasm, Cytoplasmic vesicle, Cytoskeleton, Membrane, Microtubule
Specificity: Human
Alternative Names:
ATG8E, MAP1LC3A,autophage-related protein LC3A
Immunogen: Synthetic Peptide
Isotype: Mouse Monoclonal IgG1
Concentration: 1mg/ml
Recommended dilutions: WB 1:1,000-2,000, IHC 1:100-200
Observed band: 14,16kDa
GeneID: 84557
Swiss-Prot No.: Q9H492
Storage: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.4.
Store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
