Background:
This gene is a member of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-likereceptor (LIR) family, which is found in a gene cluster atchromosomal region 19q13.4. The encoded protein belongs to thesubfamily B class of LIR receptors which contain two or fourextracellular immunoglobulin domains, a transmembrane domain, andtwo to four cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitorymotifs (ITIMs). Several other LIR subfamily B receptors areexpressed on immune cells where they bind to MHC class I moleculeson antigen-presenting cells and inhibit stimulation of an immuneresponse. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoformshave been found for this gene.
Alternative Name:
Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor subfamily B member 5, CD85 antigen-like family member C, Leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor 8, LIR-8, CD85c, CD85c, LIR8
Application Dilution: WB: 1:500~1:1000
Specificity: LILRB5 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of LILRB5 protein.
Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 128-173 of Human LILRB5.
MW: ~ 64 kDa
Swis Prot.: O75023
Purification & Purity:
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Format:
1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.3.
Storage:
Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
