Background:
LIPC encodes hepatic triglyceride lipase, which is expressed in liver. LIPC has the dual functions of triglyceride hydrolase and ligand/bridging factor for receptor-mediated lipoprotein uptake.
Other Names:
Hepatic triacylglycerol lipase, HL, Hepatic lipase, Lipase member C, LIPC, HTGL
Target/Specificity:
This LIPC antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 9-36 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human LIPC.
Antigen Region:
9-36
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide
Gene Name: LIPC
Gene ID: 3990
Primary Accession: P11150
NCBI Accession: NP_000227.2
Other Accession: NP_000227.2
Format: Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
