AC-BP8683c
Background:
LMAN1 is a type I integral membrane protein localized in the intermediate region between the endoplasmic reticulum and the Golgi, presumably recycling between the two compartments. The protein is a mannose-specific lectin and is a member of a novel family of plant lectin homologs in the secretory pathway of animal cells.
Other Names:
Protein ERGIC-53, ER-Golgi intermediate compartment 53 kDa protein, Gp58, Intracellular mannose-specific lectin MR60, Lectin mannose-binding 1, LMAN1, ERGIC53, F5F8D
Target/Specificity:
The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8683c was selected from the Center region of human LMAN1. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Gene Name: LMAN1
Gene ID: 3998
Primary Accession: P49257
Format: Peptides are lyophilized in a solid powder format. Peptides can be reconstituted in solution using the appropriate buffer as needed.
